In Loving Memory of Brett Dennis Buckman December 3rd, 2001 - August 7th, 2023 Bel Air, Maryland, 21014 It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Brett Dennis Buckman, a beloved son, brother, and friend. Brett departed this world on August 7th, 2023, due to a sudden heart attack, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. His departure has left his family, friends, and community heartbroken. Born on December 3rd, 2001, in his hometown of Bel Air, Maryland, Brett was a remarkable young man whose presence brought joy and warmth to those around him. He was the cherished son of Jonathan and Karen Buckman and the loving brother of Tammy Buckman. Brett was a beacon of light to all who knew him. He possessed a gentle and compassionate spirit that touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His infectious laughter, kind-heartedness, and unwavering support made him a treasured friend to many. Brett had an innate ability to lift the spirits of those around him and was always there to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. A graduate of Bel Air High School, Brett was known for his academic excellence and passion for learning. He was a curious and inquisitive individual who approached every challenge with determination and perseverance. Brett's thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a degree in computer science, where he displayed a remarkable aptitude for technology and innovation. Beyond his academic pursuits, Brett had a wide range of interests and hobbies. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed playing basketball and soccer with his friends. Brett's competitive spirit and love for the game were evident on the field, where he displayed both skill and sportsmanship. He also had a deep appreciation for music and loved playing the guitar in his spare time. Brett's departure has left an immense void in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his radiant smile, his gentle nature, and his unwavering kindness. Although his time with us was tragically cut short, his legacy will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched. Brett Dennis Buckman is survived by his parents, Jonathan and Karen Buckman, and his sister, Tammy Buckman. He also leaves behind numerous relatives, friends, and a community that will forever hold him in their hearts. A memorial service to celebrate Brett's life will be held on August 12th, 2023, at the Bel Air Community Center. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association in Brett's memory. As we mourn the loss of Brett, let us also remember the light he brought into our lives and the impact he made during his time with us. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find solace in the memories we shared with him. Rest in peace, dear Brett Dennis Buckman. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
